​Liturgical Ministries
*There is always a need for people to fill these ministries.  If you feel called by the Holy Spirit to give your time, please fill out the simple form at the bottom of this page and you will be contacted with details and instructions.
  • Sacristans - Assist priest by preparing the altar and worship space.
  • Proclaimers of the Word – Lectoring requires a clear speaking voice to assist with the readings during mass.
  • Projection Screens Operator - Teams of 2 to operate the "Propresenter" software and the camera system for the projection screens at church.  Training on the projection system is required and provided.  Team should arrive to Mass early and stay a bit after.  
  • Eucharistic Ministers – Assist during Mass with distribution of the body and blood of Christ.
  • Altar Servers (youth) – Altar serving is open to youth in grade 4 and up. New altar server training occurs periodically.
  • Gift Bearers – Presenting the gifts to the altar at the offertory procession during Mass by carrying up the collection basket, unconsecrated hosts and wine pitcher.  This is a good ministry for families.
  • Ushers / Greeters – Ushering is an active service to parishioners and visitors. It requires that you arrive to Mass early with a welcoming spirit and a hand eager to help others, participate in the obtaining the Sunday collection and distribute bulletins.
  • Church Environment Team – Decorate the Church environment based on each Liturgical season.
  • Mass Attendance Counters– Assist with a periodic count of individuals attending Mass.
  • Music Ministry - Share your talent by joining a choir, become a song leader, play the piano/organ  or some other instrument.
